The Innovation of the CAM MKIII System

The operational realism of the CAM MKIII platform is the core appeal. As many shell ejecting shotgun users will tell you, the fun of the immersive realism vastly outweighs any inconvenience caused by shell collection. This shotgun has been designed to almost entirely function like a real one, even down to preparing your shell loads. APS listened to users of their previous Mark II design and made massive changes for improvement: the CO2 charge is no longer done into the bolt carrier. Instead, the shells hold the CO2 charge, meaning the shotgun is now capable of delivering much more power and consistency than the previous version. This innovation makes the system so much more practical and reliable.

Authentic Operation and Firepower

Users insert a paper topper to prevent the BBs from rolling out of the shell (which can hold up to 12 BBs for a massive spread) and then load them into the magazine tube like a real one. There’s no need for inner barrels and hop-up chambers, as all of the BBs are expended at once in one shot out of the 18mm diameter outer barrel. Rack the pump to eject the empty shell and load the next one—a functional, satisfying cycle that enhances any Milsim experience.
